ComicPalooza is almost here!
As most of you know, CP is the one BIG event I do every year. It’s been that way since Pfitz invited me to go with him for undisclosed reasons. (Ask Christy). Sir Pat was there and the whole event was pretty cool.
This year, we’re going bigger than ever. Last year we had some great guests drop by the booth and hang out. One young lady even came behind the table to chat and draw customers. We also had a couple of cosplayers do the same. They were fan favorites, what with modeling the latest Spark Princess attire and the like.
Because of last year’s success, we’re going to have more authors join us. I’ll post some potential guest celeb drop bys later. Meanwhile, let me tell you who will NOT be coming by the booth (#3217) to hang out.
It started during the Charmed years. I took Alyssa Milano’s side during the tiff and have never been forgiven. So it goes.
My inner fan is pretty pumped about one guest in particular. Martha Wells will be there. She’s the outstanding author of the spectacular Murderbot Diaries series (reviewed here).
She is so good, I’m thinking of standing in line to tell her how much I enjoyed Murderbot. Okay, not if it’s a long line, or I’m hungry, or there are a lot of people at the booth, but, you know…
Friday the 24th is a half day and is a lot of fun. We’ll be in place when the doors open and ready to chat with fans and sell merch.
