Had a wonderful chat today with Alex Lewczuk and Jessica Burtis on their Midweek Drive podcast.
I’ve been on with them before, back in 2022. Alex reminded me that it was four books ago.
We’ll try to shorten that interval before the next visit.
Fellow SciFi author Brad C. Anderson (Ashme’s Song) was also a guest, which gave us an opportunity to discuss our different approaches to writing. He’s a character and conflict-first writer, whereas I tend to be tech-forward and then build my world around that tech and how people have adapted to it.
Jessica threw us a curveball with a question about sweet tea. She’s relocated from North Carolina to New Jersey and is missing her staple. Brad assured us all that even in Vancouver, BC, sweet tea is quite the thing.
